Consultation Terms

ROSE ALOTAIBI LTD

PRIVATE CONSULTATION TERMS

Effective Date: November  2026

Last Updated: October 2026

These Private Consultation Terms (“Consultation Terms”) govern private consultation appointments provided by Rose Alotaibi Ltd (“Rose Alotaibi”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Consultation Terms should be read together with our Terms and Conditions of Sale, Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Delivery & Shipping Policy, Website Terms of Use and any other terms expressly communicated in connection with a consultation or subsequent bespoke commission.

By booking and paying for a Private Consultation, the Client confirms that they have had the opportunity to review and understand these Consultation Terms.

Nothing in these Consultation Terms excludes, restricts or limits any statutory consumer right or remedy which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or limited.

Where mandatory consumer law applicable to the Client provides greater protection than these Consultation Terms, such mandatory law shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

1. SCOPE OF THE PRIVATE CONSULTATION

1.1 The Rose Alotaibi Private Consultation service is intended exclusively for Clients seeking a bespoke, customised or made-to-measure dress, gown or other qualifying private-occasion commission.

1.2 The consultation is designed to discuss the Client’s vision, occasion, design preferences, aesthetic requirements, measurements or fitting requirements where relevant, and other information reasonably necessary to explore a potential bespoke commission.

1.3 The consultation is not intended for general customer-service enquiries, existing-order enquiries, routine product questions, general styling advice, press enquiries, collaboration proposals or other matters unrelated to a qualifying bespoke commission.

1.4 General enquiries should be directed to clientservices@rosealotaibi.com.

2. CONSULTATION FEE

2.1 The fee for a standard Private Consultation is £1,000 for one hour, unless a different fee or duration is expressly communicated before booking.

2.2 The consultation fee relates solely to the professional consultation time and associated consultation service.

2.3 The consultation fee does not include the cost of any garment, gown, design, materials, fabric, embellishment, jewellery, accessories, manufacturing, alteration, fitting, delivery or other product or service unless expressly confirmed in writing.

2.4 Any subsequent bespoke or custom-made commission will be separately quoted.

2.5 Payment of the consultation fee does not constitute payment toward a subsequent commission unless Rose Alotaibi Ltd expressly agrees in writing that the fee, or part of it, will be credited toward that commission.

3. PAYMENT

3.1 Where payment is required at the time of booking, the appointment will not be treated as confirmed until the required payment has been successfully authorised or received.

3.2 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may use third-party payment providers to process consultation payments.

3.3 Clients must use a payment method which they are authorised to use.

3.4 Rose Alotaibi Ltd reserves the right to cancel or withhold confirmation of a booking where payment fails, is reversed, appears unauthorised or reasonably raises fraud or security concerns.

4. APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION

4.1 Submission of a booking request does not necessarily constitute acceptance of that booking.

4.2 An appointment becomes confirmed when Rose Alotaibi Ltd communicates confirmation through the applicable booking system, email or other authorised method.

4.3 The Client is responsible for reviewing the confirmed date, time, duration and consultation method.

4.4 Clients should notify Rose Alotaibi Ltd promptly if any material booking information appears incorrect.

5. CONSULTATION FORMAT

5.1 Consultations may be conducted online, virtually, by video conference or through another format specified during the booking process.

5.2 The applicable consultation method and any necessary joining instructions will be communicated to the Client.

5.3 Where an appointment is conducted remotely, the Client is responsible for having a reasonably suitable internet connection, compatible device and private environment from which to participate.

5.4 Rose Alotaibi Ltd shall not be responsible for significant interruption caused solely by the Client’s own device, internet connection or technical environment where Rose Alotaibi Ltd is not legally responsible for that interruption.

6. DURATION

6.1 A standard Private Consultation is scheduled for one hour unless expressly stated otherwise.

6.2 The appointment will ordinarily begin and end at the times stated in the booking confirmation.

6.3 Additional consultation time is not automatically included.

6.4 Where additional time is required, a further appointment or additional fee may be required and will be communicated separately.

7. CLIENT LATENESS

7.1 Clients should be ready to attend the consultation at the confirmed appointment time.

7.2 Where a Client joins late, Rose Alotaibi Ltd is not obliged to extend the consultation beyond its originally scheduled end time, subject to applicable consumer law.

7.3 Significant lateness may result in insufficient time to complete all intended consultation matters.

7.4 Any rescheduling arising from substantial Client lateness will be dealt with in accordance with the booking and cancellation terms applicable to the appointment.

8. INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE CLIENT

8.1 The Client must provide accurate and complete information reasonably required in connection with the consultation or potential commission.

8.2 This may include details concerning the occasion, desired style, measurements, sizing, preferred materials, colours, timing requirements and other design preferences.

8.3 The Client is responsible for reviewing information supplied to Rose Alotaibi Ltd and notifying us promptly of any material error.

9. MEASUREMENTS AND SIZING

9.1 Where measurements are supplied by the Client, the Client is responsible for taking reasonable care to ensure that those measurements are accurate.

9.2 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may provide reasonable guidance concerning measurement requirements but cannot be responsible for inaccuracies caused solely by measurements independently supplied by the Client where Rose Alotaibi Ltd has not caused or contributed to the error.

9.3 Where professional measurement or fitting is required, additional arrangements may be necessary.

9.4 Any separate fitting or measurement service and its applicable charges will be communicated before the Client becomes bound to pay for that service.

10. PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTATION

10.1 A consultation is an exploratory and professional design meeting.

10.2 Its purpose is to assess the Client’s requirements and, where appropriate, discuss the possibility of a bespoke commission.

10.3 Booking a consultation does not itself guarantee that Rose Alotaibi Ltd will accept a subsequent commission.

10.4 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may decline a proposed commission where it cannot reasonably or lawfully fulfil the Client’s requirements, proposed timeframe, design request or other material requirement.

11. NO GUARANTEE OF A FINAL DESIGN

11.1 A Private Consultation does not necessarily result in a completed final design during the consultation itself.

11.2 Design development may require further creative work, sketches, specifications, sourcing, approvals or additional appointments.

11.3 Any further services or deliverables will be confirmed separately.

11.4 Unless expressly agreed in writing, the consultation fee does not include a completed technical design, manufacturing specification, final sketch package or production-ready document.

12. BESPOKE QUOTATIONS

12.1 Any quotation supplied following a consultation will be separate from the consultation fee.

12.2 A quotation may take into account design complexity, materials, craftsmanship, embellishment, production requirements, fittings, delivery requirements and other relevant factors.

12.3 Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quotation does not create a binding contract until the applicable commission is accepted in accordance with the relevant order or bespoke terms.

12.4 Quotations may be subject to an expiry period stated when issued.

13. BESPOKE AND CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS

13.1 Where the Client subsequently commissions a bespoke, made-to-measure, personalised or custom-made product, separate contractual terms will apply.

13.2 Products made to the Client’s specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights where applicable law permits.

13.3 This does not affect statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

14. PRODUCTION TIMES

14.1 A consultation appointment is separate from the production period for any subsequent bespoke commission.

14.2 Where applicable, qualifying custom-made Rose Alotaibi products may require approximately 40–48 days for production unless a different timeframe is expressly agreed.

14.3 Production time does not include shipping time unless expressly stated.

14.4 A production period may not begin until all required information, measurements, approvals and payments have been received.

14.5 Any legally binding production or delivery period shall be governed by the terms agreed for the particular commission and applicable consumer law.

15. EVENT DATES

15.1 Clients seeking a design for a wedding, ceremony, private occasion or other date-specific event must disclose the relevant event date before entering into a subsequent commission.

15.2 Rose Alotaibi Ltd does not guarantee delivery by an event date unless that date has been expressly accepted as a binding delivery requirement.

15.3 Clients are strongly advised to allow sufficient time for design development, production, fittings, alterations and delivery.

15.4 Nothing in this Section limits statutory rights arising where an expressly agreed essential delivery date is not met.

16. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

16.1 Any concepts, sketches, proposals or creative ideas presented during or following a consultation remain subject to development and refinement.

16.2 Materials, techniques and construction methods may be adapted where reasonably required to achieve the intended design, subject to any material approvals agreed with the Client.

16.3 Any material changes to a separately agreed commission shall be addressed in accordance with the applicable contract and consumer law.

17. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

17.1 Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, intellectual property rights in Rose Alotaibi designs, sketches, drawings, concepts, patterns, artwork, jewellery designs, garment designs and other original creative material remain owned by or licensed to Rose Alotaibi Ltd to the extent recognised by applicable law.

17.2 Payment for a consultation does not transfer ownership of Rose Alotaibi intellectual property.

17.3 The Client must not reproduce, manufacture, commercially exploit, distribute, license or provide protected Rose Alotaibi designs to another manufacturer or designer without lawful authorisation.

17.4 Nothing in this Section creates intellectual property rights beyond those available under applicable intellectual-property law.

18. CONFIDENTIAL DESIGN MATERIAL

18.1 Draft designs, unreleased concepts, sketches, samples and other confidential creative material may be shared during a consultation.

18.2 Clients must not unlawfully disclose or commercially exploit confidential or unreleased Rose Alotaibi creative material without written authorisation.

18.3 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may reasonably restrict unauthorised copying or recording of confidential design materials where necessary to protect intellectual property and confidential information.

18.4 This Section does not restrict disclosures legally required or otherwise protected by applicable law.

19. RECORDING CONSULTATIONS

19.1 Clients must not record, livestream, reproduce or commercially distribute a Private Consultation without prior permission where such permission is required.

19.2 Rose Alotaibi Ltd will not record a consultation involving personal data without an appropriate legal basis and any notice or consent required by applicable law.

20. PRIVACY

20.1 Personal data supplied in connection with a consultation will be processed in accordance with the Rose Alotaibi Ltd Privacy Policy.

20.2 Information may include identity details, contact information, measurements, design preferences, booking details and other information necessary to administer the consultation or subsequent commission.

20.3 Clients should avoid providing personal information which is unnecessary for the consultation.

21. CONFIDENTIALITY

21.1 Rose Alotaibi Ltd will handle Client information in accordance with applicable privacy and confidentiality obligations.

21.2 Clients are expected to respect confidential or proprietary information expressly identified as such during the consultation.

21.3 Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from making a disclosure required by law or exercising a lawful right.

22. STATUTORY CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING RIGHTS

22.1 Any cancellation or rescheduling right applicable to a Private Consultation shall be determined by the booking terms provided before the Client becomes bound and by applicable mandatory consumer law.

22.2 Where the statutory distance-contract cancellation rules apply to the consultation, the Client may ordinarily have a 14-day cancellation period beginning on the day after the service contract is entered into, subject to applicable statutory conditions and exceptions.

22.3 Where the Client expressly requests that the consultation begin during an applicable statutory cancellation period, Rose Alotaibi Ltd may seek the acknowledgements and requests required by law before beginning performance.

22.4 Where a valid statutory cancellation occurs after services have begun at the Client’s express request, any proportionate payment due for services already supplied shall be determined in accordance with applicable law.

22.5 Where the relevant statutory conditions are satisfied and a service has been fully performed, the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may cease in accordance with applicable law.

22.6 Clients should notify Rose Alotaibi Ltd as soon as reasonably possible where they wish to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

22.7 Nothing in this Section removes any mandatory cancellation, refund or service-quality right.

23. CONSULTATION FEE REFUNDS

23.1 Any entitlement to a refund of the consultation fee will depend upon the circumstances, the booking terms communicated to the Client and applicable law.

23.2 No provision in these Terms shall exclude a refund where applicable law requires one.

23.3 Where Rose Alotaibi Ltd cancels a consultation and no reasonable alternative arrangement is accepted, any refund legally due will be processed accordingly.

23.4 A consultation fee shall not be described or treated as automatically non-refundable in circumstances where applicable law requires reimbursement.

24. NO-SHOWS

24.1 Where a Client fails to attend a confirmed consultation without providing notice, any entitlement to rescheduling or reimbursement will be determined in accordance with the applicable booking terms and law.

24.2 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may require a new booking and payment before providing another consultation where legally permitted.

24.3 Nothing in this Section permits the retention of a payment in circumstances where such retention would be unlawful or unfair under applicable consumer law.

25. RESCHEDULING BY ROSE ALOTAIBI LTD

25.1 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may occasionally need to reschedule an appointment because of illness, emergencies, technical disruption or other reasonable circumstances.

25.2 Where this occurs, Rose Alotaibi Ltd will take reasonable steps to offer an alternative appointment.

25.3 Where applicable law requires reimbursement because an alternative service cannot be provided, the legally required remedy will be provided.

26. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

26.1 Clients and Rose Alotaibi representatives are expected to communicate respectfully and professionally.

26.2 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may terminate a consultation where there is threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise seriously inappropriate conduct.

26.3 Any financial consequences of termination will depend upon the circumstances and applicable law.

27. MISUSE OF CONSULTATION SERVICES

27.1 Consultation services must not be used for fraudulent, unlawful or abusive purposes.

27.2 Clients must not book consultations for the purpose of unlawfully obtaining confidential designs, trade information or proprietary creative material.

27.3 Rose Alotaibi Ltd reserves all lawful rights and remedies in relation to suspected fraud, intellectual-property infringement or misuse.

28. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

28.1 Private Consultations may rely upon third-party booking, video-conferencing, payment or communications platforms.

28.2 Independent third-party providers may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

28.3 Rose Alotaibi Ltd is not responsible for independent third-party acts or failures for which it is not legally responsible.

29. TECHNICAL ISSUES

29.1 Where a consultation is materially interrupted by a technical issue attributable to Rose Alotaibi Ltd or its systems, reasonable steps will be taken to continue, rearrange or otherwise resolve the appointment in accordance with applicable law.

29.2 Technical difficulties arising solely from the Client’s equipment or connection do not automatically entitle the Client to additional consultation time.

29.3 Nothing in this Section affects any statutory right where the consultation service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or otherwise fails to conform to the contract.

30. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

30.1 Nothing in these Consultation Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful.

30.2 Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any mandatory consumer right.

30.3 Subject to applicable law, Rose Alotaibi Ltd shall not be responsible for losses which it did not cause or which were not reasonably foreseeable consequences of a breach.

30.4 Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory remedies concerning services which have not been supplied with reasonable care and skill or otherwise fail to conform to applicable consumer law.

31. INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

31.1 Private Consultation services may be made available to international Clients where reasonably practicable.

31.2 Where mandatory consumer legislation applicable to an international Client provides rights which cannot lawfully be excluded, those rights remain unaffected.

32. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

32.1 Rose Alotaibi Ltd may update these Consultation Terms from time to time.

32.2 The current version will be published or otherwise made available with its applicable effective date.

32.3 Changes will not retrospectively remove mandatory or contractual rights relating to an existing confirmed consultation where doing so would be unlawful.

33. GOVERNING LAW

33.1 These Consultation Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

33.2 Nothing in this Section removes mandatory consumer protections applicable to a Client which cannot lawfully be excluded by a choice-of-law clause.

34. DISPUTES

34.1 Clients should initially contact Rose Alotaibi Ltd regarding any concern or dispute relating to a Private Consultation.

34.2 Nothing in these Terms deprives a Client of any mandatory right to bring proceedings before a court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
